About Healing Hands Free Clinic

A community-based event organized to serve those in need of medical, dental, and vision care. While the event is spearheaded by the Carmichael Seventh-day Adventist Church, it is a multi-church effort designed to bring the broader community together. We partner with Life and Health, a non-profit organization, to facilitate professional medical services.

The clinic is led by a dedicated team of directors, including Clinic Coordinator Jenny Jin, NP, and Assistant Coordinator Naveen Samuel, DDS, alongside medical professionals and community volunteers. We chose the name “Healing Hands” to serve as a welcoming, neutral banner under which we can provide compassionate care to everyone.

Our Mission

Our goal is to meet the immediate physical needs of our community while offering spiritual support and connection. We aim to serve the uninsured, underinsured, refugees, and immigrant populations who often fall through the cracks of the healthcare system.

Our inspiration comes from the example of Jesus, the greatest healer, and we operate under the biblical motto found in Matthew 10:7-8: “Heal the sick… Freely you have received; freely give”,.

Beyond the two-day event, our mission is to build lasting relationships with our patients, connecting them with local resources and ongoing support programs.
